L6 & U6 (Year 12 & 13)

In the Sixth form pupils study the AQA 7517 Computer Science course. This course has partly on computer assessment (Paper 1) and pupils also choose their own programming project in languages of their choice.

Paper 1: A Skeleton program is provided in September of Year 13 and will form the basis of sections C & D of Paper 1 [40%)

Paper 2: A more traditional written paper on many aspects of Computer Science [40%]

The NEA Project: At least 50 hours coding is recommended, although often more time is actually spent on the project [20%]
